A WORD FROM THE AUTHOR / ARTIST
"The story Yeye depicts a young child's struggle with grief and loss following the untimely passing of his grandfather. Young children are often invisible griefers. While the topic of death is challenging for adults, explaining it to children can be just as difficult to approach. The kid's primary carer throughout the narrative was his grandfather, illustrating how important he was to the boy. The boy comes to terms with the passing of his grandfather while also learning about traditional Chinese customs." - Jessin Goh
